Healing You services are available to adults aged 18 and over only.

What Information I Collect

  • Personal details - name, date of birth, address, email and telephone number.

  • Health and wellbeing information - relevant medical history, health conditions, medications, allergies/sensitivities, physical and emotional wellbeing information and information you choose to share during your consultation.

  • Treatment records - intake and consent forms, Reiki and Bach Flower Therapy session notes, practitioner observations, Bach Flower selections/preparations and relevant follow-up information.

  • Booking information - appointments and booking history.

  • Payment information - transaction and accounting records. Healing You does not store your full credit or debit card details.

  • Website information - information submitted through the Healing You website, Wix Bookings and Wix Intake Forms, together with relevant technical/cookie information collected by Wix.

Health information is classed as special category personal data under UK GDPR and receives additional protection.

How I Use Your Information

  • Manage enquiries, bookings and appointments.

  • Assess the suitability and safe provision of Healing You services.

  • Provide and personalise Reiki and Bach Flower Therapy.

  • Maintain appropriate consultation, consent and treatment records.

  • Provide relevant follow-up communications.

  • Process payments and maintain business/accounting records.

  • Meet legal, professional and insurance requirements.

  • Send marketing communications where you have consented to receive them.

Legal Basis for Processing

Depending on the circumstances, Healing You processes personal information on the basis of contract, consent, legal obligation or legitimate interests.

How Your Information Is Stored

Healing You takes reasonable measures to keep your information secure. Client information may be stored through:

  • Wix, including Wix Bookings and Wix Intake Forms.

  • Password-protected business devices and digital records.

  • Secure professional email systems.

  • Payment and accounting providers where necessary.

Access to identifiable client information is restricted and information will only be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to meet treatment, legal, insurance, accounting and professional requirements.

Healing You Method Journal

The Healing You Method Journal stores information locally on the device you choose to use. Healing You Ltd does not receive, access, view or centrally store the information you enter into your journal. Journal data remains on the device on which it is created and is not automatically transferable to another device.

If you choose to share information from your journal with Healing You, that information may become part of your client record and will then be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Sharing Your Information

Healing You does not sell your personal information.

Information will only be shared where reasonably necessary, such as with Wix, payment providers, accountants, insurers or professional advisers, or where disclosure is legally required.

Information may also be shared with another healthcare professional where you have specifically authorised this.

Your UK GDPR Rights

Depending on the circumstances, you have the right to:

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Request deletion or restriction of your information where applicable.

  • Object to certain types of processing.

  • Request data portability where applicable.

Some rights may be limited where Healing You has a legal, professional or insurance requirement to retain particular records.

Data Breaches

If a personal data breach occurs, Healing You will take appropriate action and notify the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) within 72 hours where legally required. Affected individuals will also be informed where required.

Marketing

Healing You will only send electronic marketing communications where there is an appropriate lawful basis to do so.
